The Local Area Dialogue Committee (LADC) is a community body which is responsible for helping improve the livelihoods through social responsibility programmes and activities in the targeted informal areas.
The LADC comprises of 20 members, representing Non-Governmental Organizations, community services such as (schools, youth centers and hospitals), private sector, elected local councils, community leaders (Men, women, youth) beside those who are interested in developing the community.
The LADC helps represent the community as a cross –section of society in each informal area, agree the priorities for development in each informal area, coordinate with all stakeholders, work on raising the awareness in the Community through carrying out awareness running campaigns to promote participation in urban development and engagement in the development of the community: through conducting lectures and seminars, issuing flyers and conducting field visits to beneficiaries, and contribute to the implementation of small scale-projects through advice and guidance.
